“Liz has been my senior yoga instructor for several years now.  I love her passion & enthusiasm.  She gives her students incredible confidence to do our very best & achieve what we thought was not possible.  I have gained a log of strength & endurance through her classes & encouragement.  She is a one-of-a-kind treasure.” - Linda C.

“I don’t write testimonials, but when a yoga teacher eliminates the lower back pain you have been plagued by for a year, then your only choice is to write a testimonial. That’s what happened when I took a Saturday morning class with Liz. She thoughtfully planned out a class that focused on opening everyone’s hips and it worked! Since that class my lower back pain has been minimal, if at all! I learn something new about how I should (or shouldn’t) move my body every time I take one of her classes and I always leave feeling a little more body confident. So yeah, if you’re reading this and wondering if you should take a class with Liz, then the answer is YES!” - Renee W.

"Liz was able to get a room full of 40+ medical providers to close their eyes, practice mindful breathing, and engage in gentle stretches. She used evidence-based literature to review the benefits of slowing down and engaging with one's physiologic responses to stress. In a career with high burnout, Liz's session provided us with skills needed to handle both day-to-day stressors of a busy clinic and improve overall resiliency. I recommend Liz's workshop to anyone who would benefit from learning how to monitor their body's response to stress, acknowledge it, and appropriately adjust their reactions.” - Georgia L.

"There is truth in “constant as the North Star." Liz never waivers with her encouragement to bring gentle awareness, kindness, and connection to oneself. She fosters an environment for her students to pause and breath which in-turn sets in motion a holistic practice. Through her array of talents either through teachings or practices, each individual may have a different experience, but her message of being is always constant." - Stephanie T.

“I have never been someone who liked the gym or group classes. I was turned onto Pilates after suffering a serious disc herniation. My neurosurgeon suggested I start taking classes to strengthen my core and avoid future injury. Two years ago, I signed up for my very first Pilates reformer class at a studio in downtown Washington DC. The best health decision I have ever made. Since then I have worked with several experienced instructors 5-6 times a week, and I am not exaggerating when I say Liz is one of the best Pilates teachers I have ever met. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the human body, but she is patient, caring, and always introduces new and exciting exercises. She takes a keen interest in each of her students goals and needs. Knowing that I am eager to train my thass (the area where you derriere meets your thighs), Liz has amazed me with the variety of highly effective exercises she has introduced to me over the last two years. I have had many many aha moments with her, and she has truly elevated my Pilates practice and transformed the way I look at my body. I am trimmer and stronger than I have ever been in my life, and feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with her.- Yasmin A.
